Kadina

Kadina (aboriginal meaning Lizard Plain) is the largest town on the Yorke Peninsula, and is a thriving commercial centre. It has a population of around 4200 people.

Kernewek Lowender 2009

The Kernewek Lowender - Copper Coast Cornish Festival is Australia's largest Cornish festival. It is held to celebrate the early mining heritage of the Yorke Peninsula country towns of Kadina, Moonta and Wallaroo.

The festival is held over seven days with the highlight being 'The Big Weekend'. The festival is packed with a variety of traditional Cornish activities and other festival like events.
